Claus FM / Live from the North Pole!
Claus FM / Live from the North Pole! was THE spot in the early 80s for swimsuit contests every Saturday during the summer at the Surf Hut and providing THE soundtrack for so many radios on the beach and in cars while dragging the strip during the spring and summer and Harrison Avenue in the fall and winter.
About Us
From a converted house on a dusty Magnolia Beach Road, WPFM started off as a Progressive radio station, evolved into what would be referred to as a Rock 40 in the mid-70s, then dove straight into the world of Top 40 in the early 80s. With the voices and talents of Skip Bishop, Jefferson "Cat" Davis, Birdman & Mr. Lou, Mike Stone, Young Preston Young, Little John Walker, Chazrin Blake, Maddie Blake, Steve Michaels, Kent Bailey, Big Rick's Rock N Roll Saturday Night, Rocket Ray, and so many more.
